About Faiza

Faiza is a Melbourne based Australian artist who works mainly with acrylics and textures. Her work occupies the compelling space between abstraction and realism, ranging from semi-abstract landscapes to still-life paintings inspired by thrift shop discoveries. Driven by her own space and environment, Faiza translates surrounding textures and colours into emotive canvas pieces that explore mood and feeling. With a keen eye for detail and colour, Faiza's artwork uses both canvas and high-grade canvas paper, to translate her artistic journey.

Her paintings have been bought by collectors all over the world from United Kingdom to places in America and parts of Europe. She has also sold to collectors all over Australia.

In moments of respite, she finds solace in the company of her beloved cat, Sheeba, or reading or exploring interesting places around Melbourne, Australia.
