This painting was created in celebration of spring and summer when we emerge from gray wintery skies to better days of colours. The slight shimmer in the clouds are reminiscent of hints of rain the clouds are trying to shed before the day fully blooms. The reflection in the landscape highlights this too with its hints of gold and bronze reflected.
